As Britain’s most jackpot that is notorious winner, Michael Carroll earned the title ‘King of Chavs’, which will be basically the British exact carbon copy of being king of the rednecks, after pocketing just timid of £10 million (nearly $15 million) on the UK’s National Lottery.
Carroll famously won the fortune in 2002 at age simply 19, and blew the majority of their money on drugs, alcohol and hookers, to the point he became virtually penniless and lived off benefits.
And after squandering away his fortune, Carroll wound up sleeping rough in a British forest himself working as a shortbread packer in a biscuit factory in Scotland for £6 per hour (less than $9 an hour) as he hunted for work to pay his bills, and now finds.
He now claims that he’s turned over a new leaf after fleeing north to Scotland upon being warned by buddies that his current lifestyle would be his death knell.
‘ I’ve only got one chance left I’d have been dead in six months if I’d carried on that lifestyle of drug and drinking taking. I get £204 every week for packing and stacking shortbread and snacks and I love it,’ exclaimed Carroll in the Daily Mail UK tabloid newspaper, stating that he’s got no regrets over the past ten years, despite winding up in jail on three occasions and wittering away their fortune.

British Cartoon Network Mistakenly Airs Bookmaker Ad
The Cartoon Network made a huge faux pas recently when it mistakenly aired an ad for UK bookmaker Coral during a broadcast on the children’s television channel despite strict rules that govern the airing of gambling ads on television.
The controversial ad was aired on Turner Broadcasting’s Boomerang channel plus the Cartoon system, sparking outrage as the broadcast code strictly prohibits the advertising of gambling ‘in or adjacent to programs commissioned for, principally directed at, or more likely to appeal particularly to audiences below the age of 18 years,’ so minds had been positively tumbling whenever the broadcast clearly broke these rules.
The station may have maybe been forgiven for their ‘serious breach’ of this rules had the advertising aired just once, but the advertising was broadcast nine times on a Saturday morning back in May of the year, that will be primetime viewing for children kick-starting their week-end with a few cartoon antics.
The Advertising guidelines Agency says that Turner Broadcasting has ‘apologized unreservedly’ for the hiccup, and contains explained that the ad was broadcast, repeatedly, in error.
